PSG

Manual PSG Scoring

Overview
Polysomnography (PSG) provides a comprehensive evaluation of sleep architecture, respiratory patterns, oxygen saturation, cardiac rhythms, and limb activity. Precise manual scoring aligned with AASM standards supports differential diagnosis of sleep-disordered breathing, parasomnias, and insomnia, empowering clinicians to make informed treatment decisions and improve patient care outcomes.

Sleep Stage Analysis

01

We thoroughly analyze and document apneas, hypopneas, respiratory effort–related arousals (RERAs), and related oxygen desaturation events across the full recording. Each respiratory event is identified and scored in line with the latest AASM rules, providing a complete picture of the patient’s breathing patterns throughout the night. This detailed scoring helps distinguish obstructive versus central events, supporting appropriate CPAP titration or further evaluation.

Limb & Cardiac Event Scoring

02

Our RPSGTs include careful scoring of periodic limb movements, periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD), and other abnormal movements, along with analysis of cardiac events such as arrhythmias noted during the PSG. We recognize the impact of these findings on sleep continuity and daytime symptoms, providing clean, well-organized annotations that help your physician interpret the clinical significance with confidence.

Respiratory Event Detection
